Few things in life are as satisfying as joining a group of talented, enthusiastic singers and making beautiful music together every week. The Hudson Chorale invites all sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses to join with us as we rehearse and perform some of the world’s most glorious music for vocal ensembles. We give two major concerts per year, one in the winter (December or January) and one in the spring (May or June). Our winter concert this season, entitled “Carols and Lullabies,” will be on Saturday, December 10 at 8:00 pm at Dobbs Ferry Middle/High School, Dobbs Ferry, NY. Our spring concert will be on Saturday, May 5 at 8:00 pm in Dobbs Ferry.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership in the Hudson Chorale is open to all singers in all voice parts. Members come from Westchester and neighboring counties and represent a broad range of ages and vocations. All of us share a love of singing. While it is not necessary to have a professional level of musicianship to participate, some prior music training or experience is helpful in enabling each singer to master the music and have a positive experience.

We begin our rehearsals every Monday evening promptly at 7:30 and end at 10:00. Additional rehearsals at concert times will be announced in advance. Our dues are $180 per year ($310 for couples), and we also purchase our own music. We all support the activities of the Hudson Chorale by selling tickets, selling ads in the concert programs, and participating in the Chorale’s various fund-raising activities.
Many of us also volunteer to help with such activities as concert coordination, publicity, hospitality, and Board leadership. This support is not only helpful to the group, it is also a wonderful way to get to know other members of the Chorale. Come join us!
